Dundee pubs urged to switch to plastic glasses

Pubs in Dundee are being urged to ditch glass in favour of polycarbonates to improve safety despite police admitting glass attacks are rare in the area.
Police have written to all 80 city centre licensees calling on them to trial plastic glasses and have made around 9,000 polycarbonate glasses available for free.
