Advantages of Plastic Glasses

Plastic glasses have a number of advantages over standard glasses due to one of the main characteristics of glass, it cracks and smashes very easily and this leads to many other issues. • Broken glasses need to be replaced on a regular basis and this can be expensive. • Broken glass is sharpe and needs to be cleaned up. It can be a safety hazard if left on the floor. • Glass, broken or otherwise can be used as a weapon. Polycarbonate plastic glasses are virtually unbreakable which means that they need to be replaced less than standard glass and are a safer alternative. Recently the UK largest nightclub operator Luminar has gone glass free with Chief executive Steve Thomas stating
